Coil wire resistance

When you use your vape, the coil wire heat up. This heat vaporizes the e-juice, which is what you inhale. As you can imagine, the resistance determines how much heat the coil wire is making. Low resistance results in high heat generation. But if there’s high resistance, it produces less heat. This heat difference is significant all because heat influences how well your vape functions.

So, what is the best coil wire resistance, and what does that mean for your vape? It depends, what do you want? You like big clouds of vapor — or you want your vape to taste good, as well as the TS Heating Alloy's nichrome resistance wire. So if you like to make big clouds of vapor and have a hard throat hit then you want a low resistance coil. This causes the wire to heat very quickly, which is perfect for large vapor puffs.

Determining the ideal coil wire resistance for your vape

On the other hand, if clouds do not matter to you more than flavor, definitely use a coil with higher resistance, just like the srml wire innovated by TS Heating Alloy. The juice vaporizes more slowly when not as much heat is developed in a higher resistance coil. Such a slow process can help to enhance the rich flavors in the e-juice. In the end, there is no better way to find out what you like than experimenting with different wires and resistances.

As we discussed earlier, the coil wire resistance affects both the flavor and the vapor of your vape. If you use a lower resistance coil it produces more heat. This additional heat allows for the e-juice to vaporize significantly faster. This allows you to produce large clouds vapor that hangs in the air. But you lose the flavor with all that heat, you can burn a bit.
